Jouni Joronen: Hittejä Hammondilla Volume 1: A-D
Driven to hide from the noise of a family dinner, the young Jouni Joronen started his musical career by playing his sister's toy piano to drown out the cutlery. Several exotic instruments, and 33 years of practice in various performing bands later, the toy piano has been replaced by a heavy Hammond organ and the thought of releasing a solo album has matured to the point of execution. As a veteran of the Finnish music scene Joronen has gone through several different roles from performing rockabilly to teaching music classes.

Hittejä Hammondilla Volume 1: A-D, the first album in the series, is a collection of jazz and rock classics reinterpreted through the fury of Joronen's Hammond. All of the music contained on the CD has been recorded during office hours, and no musicians or other personnel have been harmed in the making of this release.
